Our EGU session on "Quantifying greenhouse gas fluxes on local, regional and global scales using atmosphere, ocean and biosphere measurements" has been scheduled for Monday, 18. April 2016. Our blocks fill most of the day, with a total of 18 oral presentations at 8.30-12:00 and 13:30-15:00. Posters are shown all day with author attendance (and drinks) at 17:30-19:00. The official programme for the European Geosciences Union General Assembly (17-22 April in Vienna) was published yesterday evening. With 67 abstracts in total, our session turned out to be a popular and large session, covering the topic of greenhouse gases from a variety of perspectives, using different methods in all relevant sub-disciplines and domains of Earth. The conveners thank all authors for contributing so many interesting abstracts of high quality and look forward to welcoming authors and many interested colleagues to an informative and engaging sesion.
